Next Book On My Reading List

Marvel Zombies

Nothing more needs to be said.

-Stinkier, excited.

The Binary Hat

Colder weather is upon us, which means that it's time for me to break out the ol' knitting needles. I've discovered three yarn stores here in town. The bigger crafty chains here in town have yarn aimed at the younger demographic such as Yarn Bee and all those fluffy eyelash yarns. I'm more into the regular wool, worsted-weight, cashmere, angora types so that you can knit fun patterns.

The three I found are:

Ewe Knit
Village Stitches
Fiber Shop

Anyways, I am searching for a hat pattern to knit for my brother and came across this:

Binary Hat!

It says 'hat' in binary, how cool is that?! *squashes geeky joy*

I am so going to make that hat for myself or someone else.

-Stinkier, geeked out.

Highlight of My Weekend

Ohhhh I wish I were an Oscar Meyer weiner!

Unfortunately, I did not have my camera on me. :( I loved that the license plate is 'YUMMY'.

And yes, I have been wanting to see the Wienermobile for a really long time so, this was awesome.

-Stinkier, happy.

Slightly befuddled and amused...

I bit the bullet and joined the Facebook revolution. So far, I updated my profile, deleted things from the Wall about ten times, and found a few old friends...well, I should say they found me. You see, I set up a Facebook account about a year ago to see if I could find somebody and it's been dormant ever since then.

Well, people kept adding me as a friend for the past few months and since I have a growing-moldier-by-the-minute Myspace account, I wasn't too interested in doing anything with my Facebook one. I just kept apologizing to people, letting them know that by no means did I not consider them a friend just because I did not accept them as one; I simply was just a lazy friend.

To say the least, I am still pretty confused (can you tell by the fact that I mentioned I deleted things from the Wall ten times?). Amongst other things, what the heck is a bumper sticker? What is the purpose of "poking" people? Why is Tony's picture so huge? Why are there a million ads touting LC's weight loss via drinking berry juice?

Oh well, I'm sure I'll figure these things out in due time and if not...well, I'm going to be asking YOU all my questions. ;)

-Stinkier, confused.

Happy One Year Anniversary!

Love you!

I can't believe one year has passed! It's been a fun and crazy ride!

Hell Has Officially Frozen Over

I am sending in my Voter Registration Application. The deadline is tomorrow (which I wasn't aware of until yesterday) so I don't know if I made the cut-off to vote next month but, I wanted to at least try.

It is time.

Oh WEIRD!!

So I was totally kidding when I posted the picture of the Partridge Family earlier today but check out the following article. According to MSNBC, NBC picked up a remake of the original show:

"The Partridge Family" is headed for a return to the small screen. NBC has picked up a contemporary single-camera take on the classic ABC sitcom.

The show's writer, Jeff Rake, is a fan of the 1970s series who plans to "turn the premise on its head."

"In the original, the kids actually recruited their mom to front the band, which I can't see happening in any family on this planet," he said.

"The new version will reflect what seems to me to be the more realistic family band scenario these days: a struggling, sort of well-meaning mom pimping her kids in order to create a wholesome-slash-sexy cash cow."

It's just really weird for this to happen. Maybe I should think about Arrested Development. Think that will bring it back on the air? :)

Traffic School

I have traffic school this Saturday for four hours. Since this is probably the worst way to spend a Saturday, I'm going to think of topics to think about while I am in class:

Ziplining.

Candy.

Shoes.

I can tell it's going to be a very long Saturday. And yes, I am bored and being incredibly unproductive at work.

-Stinkier, over and out.
